Role: Accountant

Overview

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This position offers experience in multiple areas of public accounting and the opportunity to work with individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and business tax returns

• Perform bookkeeping and account reconciliations

• Process payroll and related payroll tax filings

• Assist clients with QuickBooks and general accounting questions

• Prepare financial statements and adjusting entries

• Potentially assist with audits and other assurance engagements

• Provide additional accounting, tax, and client services as needed

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or relevant accounting experience preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines

• QuickBooks, tax, payroll, or public accounting experience is a plus

• CPA, EA, or CPA-eligible candidates are encouraged to apply but not required
