As-Built CAD Technician - Shreveport, LA

Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering, surveying, and GIS firm serving the energy, transportation, construction, and infrastructure industries. As our pipeline work continues to grow, we are expanding our As-Built Department and looking for a detail-oriented As-Built CAD Technician to join our Shreveport office.

This position will work with pipeline survey data from initial field collection through final client deliverables. The ideal candidate understands pipeline data, alignment sheets, ISO drawings, material documentation, weld mapping, and final as-built packages and is comfortable managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Process and review pipeline survey and as-built data.

Produce alignment sheets, pipeline ISOs, weld maps, run sheets, material breakdowns, and other final deliverables.

Review stationing, fittings, bends, valves, crossings, tie-ins, welds, MTR information, and other pipeline attributes.

Perform QA/QC of field data, drawings, and final client packages.

Coordinate with field crews, project managers, and other CAD technicians to resolve data or drafting issues.

Organize project data and help improve As-Built standards, workflows, and production efficiency.

Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting client deadlines.

Software & Technology

Our As-Built team utilizes AutoCAD Civil 3D, BlueSky, Data Halo, GIS and mapping applications, KMZ/KML tools, PDF review software, and other specialized pipeline data and deliverable programs.

Qualifications

Pipeline, surveying, CAD, GIS, or related experience preferred.

Experience with pipeline As-Builts, ISO drawings, alignment sheets, and final deliverables is highly preferred.

Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or similar drafting software.

Familiarity with pipeline material data, MTRs, weld information, and field survey data is a plus.

Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and QA/QC skills.

Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines.
