The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of employees, inventory, sales operations, and overall branch activities. This role focuses on maintaining a professional store environment, growing customer relationships, driving sales, and ensuring excellent service.

The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, leadership skills, and a passion for working with customers. This position involves managing the full sales cycle, from initial customer conversations through closing, while supporting both business and individual customers through retail, field, office, and job-site interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to existing and new customers

  • Develop a strong understanding of company products and customer needs

  • Recommend appropriate product solutions to drive sales

  • Grow existing accounts and develop new business opportunities within the region

  • Prospect and build relationships through phone and email outreach

  • Manage inbound customer inquiries and provide solutions

  • Work with wholesale (B2B), end users, and online customers

  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and CRM information

  • Follow up with customers to strengthen relationships and encourage repeat business

  • Assist with processing outbound orders and inbound shipments

  • Support equipment installations as needed while maintaining safety and quality standards

  • Conduct occasional customer visits to support business development and identify new sales opportunities

  • Assist with branch operations, inventory management, and team support

Requirements

  • Previous sales or management experience required

  • 2+ years of sales or customer service experience preferred

  • Strong leadership abilities

  • Excellent customer relationship skills

  • Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy

  • Valid driver's license required

  • Must be able to work onsite

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds

  • Willingness to occasionally assist warehouse operations

  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet applications, and Google Suite

  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

Work Location: In-person
Schedule: 40-50 hours per week
