An boutique law firm is seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney with civil litigation experience to join its growing team. The attorney will have the opportunity to work on a variety of matters and gain hands-on experience across all aspects of litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a variety of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

• Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and colleagues.

• Manage case files and assist with all aspects of litigation strategy and preparation.

• Contribute to a collaborative and professional work environment.
  

Qualifications:

• Good academic credentials.

• 2+ years of experience in civil litigation.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.

• Good references from staff and attorneys with whom you have worked.

• Active license to practice law in South Carolina.

• Completed Rule 403 trial experience requirements.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
