An established law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of experience to handle commercial, government, banking, real estate, and business disputes through trial and appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal filings.

• Represent clients in Superior Courts, State Courts, the Georgia State-wide Business Court, and U.S. District Courts.

• Develop case strategy and handle motions practice and discovery.

• Conduct and defend depositions.

• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials.

• Prepare appellate briefs and related filings.

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case status and strategy.

• Take ownership of assigned matters and work product.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• 2-5 years of litigation experience.

• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.

• Experience with motions, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage matters independently while continuing to develop litigation skills.

• Admission to the Georgia Bar is preferred/required.
