Mid-Level Planner: $62,400 - $79,000 per year
Senior-Level Planner: $83,000 - $125,000 per year

Total Compensation = Base Salary + Annual Performance Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We are seeking a mid- to senior-level Planner with experience in municipal planning to join the planning group in Redding, California. The role supports counties and cities with current and advanced planning tasks, including obtaining entitlements for well-planned projects.

The position requires strong people skills to build relationships with agency staff, as well as excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects, track deadlines, and deliver quality results.

Qualifications

• Strong municipal planning background with a minimum of 4 years of experience

• Research skills using agency websites and GIS platforms

• Excellence in client care, expense tracking, and project management

• Leadership skills and a desire to coach junior staff

• Excellent communication skills

• In-depth knowledge of CEQA/NEPA and permitting, including local, CDFW, Army Corps, and RWQCB requirements

• Experience in grant writing and administration
