We are seeking an experienced Attorney to join our growing Insurance Defense Litigation team. This opportunity offers hands-on litigation experience, meaningful responsibility, and mentorship from experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in insurance defense litigation matters.

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.

• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and other legal resources.

• Attend depositions, court conferences, mediations, and negotiations.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation.

• Manage and prioritize a diverse litigation caseload.

• Handle matters through various stages of litigation with increasing independence.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the New York State Bar required.

• 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.

• Connecticut and/or New Jersey Bar admission is a plus.

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.

• Excellent case management and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote legal team.
