Job Description:

• This is a full-time, on-site Auditor role based in Maitland, FL. The Auditor will perform financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

• Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing audit procedures, testing internal controls, analyzing account balances, and documenting work in accordance with firm and professional standards.

• The role also involves preparing clear workpapers, drafting audit findings and recommendations, and assisting in the preparation of reports for client management.

• The Auditor will communicate regularly with clients and team members, help resolve accounting and compliance issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting frameworks.

• Ability to plan and perform audit procedures, test internal controls, and analyze financial data.

• Proficiency in using accounting and audit software, spreadsheets, and other productivity tools.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and preparing documentation.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; progress toward or possession of a CPA license is preferred.

• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and maintain professional integrity and confidentiality.

• Prior public accounting or audit experience is beneficial, especially with small to mid-size business clients.
