Aviation QA/QC Inspector

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Aviation QA/QC Inspector to ensure helicopter maintenance and MRO activities meet FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and quality standards. The role combines hands-on aircraft inspection with quality, compliance, and airworthiness documentation responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of airframes, engines, avionics, wiring, and mechanical systems.

• Conduct return-to-service inspections and authorized aircraft sign-offs.

• Identify and document discrepancies and non-conformities.

• Review maintenance records, logbooks, ADs, SBs, and airworthiness documentation.

• Support audits, regulatory inspections, corrective actions, and quality improvements.

• Verify calibration and control of inspection tools and equipment.

• Work closely with maintenance and MRO teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on helicopter maintenance and/or aviation quality inspection experience.

• Valid FAA A&P license required.

• Strong knowledge of helicopter maintenance and airworthiness requirements.

• Experience interpreting drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Proficiency with precision inspection tools and computerized maintenance systems.

• FAA Part 43/145 or MRO experience strongly preferred.
