Our Client uses modern, top-quality equipment to assess blockages in underground storm and sewer pipes and clear them. Our privately-owned, Texas-based company responds quickly to urgent calls from job sites and is staffed with expert underground pipe repair technicians.
We are expanding our storm and sewer pipe cleaning and CCTV inspection division across Central Texas and are seeking a hands-on Business Development & Operations Manager to lead the charge.
This hybrid sales-and-operations role is ideal for a driven professional who already holds established relationships in the underground utility and municipal sectors. You will be responsible for turning those connections into lucrative contracts while partnering with our General Manager to oversee crews, fleet, and field operations.
What You'll Do:
Drive Regional Growth: Build and execute a strategic growth plan for the Central Texas market by leveraging your network of contractors, municipalities, utility districts, and industrial clients.
Win New Business: Lead bids, proposals, networking efforts, and site visits to build a robust pipeline of recurring maintenance contracts.
Oversee Operations: Partner with the GM to ensure crews, trucks, and CCTV camera units are scheduled efficiently, highly utilized, and operating safely within budget.
Manage the Pipeline: Own the division's sales pipeline, revenue forecasting, and collaborate with the estimating team on pricing strategies.
Build the Team: Help recruit, develop, and mentor field personnel as the division scales.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: 3-5+ years in storm/sewer pipe cleaning, CCTV inspection, underground utilities, or civil construction.
Network: An established network within the Central Texas construction, municipal, or industrial markets (or the proven ability to build one rapidly).
Sales Acumen: A strong track record of driving revenue growth and securing new customers.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable utilizing CRMs, email, and standard business software.
Leadership Style: A self-starter mentality. This is a "roll up your sleeves" field leadership role, not a traditional desk job.
Requirements: A valid Texas Driver's License is preferred.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses
Company vehicle
Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Medical insurance
401(k) with company matching
Paid time off (PTO)
If you have the industry relationships and the drive to build something highly impactful in a growing market, we would love to connect with you.
