The CMO owns how the world understands the company. You will turn a technically complex, capital-intensive and genuinely new category into a story that hyperscalers, investors, regulators, host communities and future employees all believe. This is a builder role: you will set the brand, stand up the marketing and communications function, and carry the narrative through a period of rapid growth and heightened public scrutiny.

Nuclear and data centers each face real public resistance. Combining them means our license to operate is earned community by community. The right candidate sees that as the core of the job, not a side task.

What You Will Own

Brand and Category Leadership

  • Define and steward the brand, visual identity and voice across all six pillars and every audience.

  • Establish the company as the reference company for nuclear-powered AI infrastructure, through thought leadership, executive positioning and earned media.

  • Build a clear, defensible competitive narrative against other power, compute and advanced reactor players.

Corporate Narrative and Capital Markets Readiness

  • Own the equity story's look, language and consistency, in partnership with the CIO and CEO.

  • Produce investor-grade materials: decks, one-pagers, video, website and data room collateral.

  • Build disclosure-aware communications processes with Legal, ready for public company standards and quiet-period discipline.

Public Affairs and Community Engagement

  • Lead stakeholder and community engagement strategy in every jurisdiction where the company sites a campus, working alongside the Chief Data Center Officer and permitting partners.

  • Develop proactive programs that address local concerns on safety, water, jobs, tax base and grid impact before opposition forms.

  • Monitor and respond to moratorium proposals, local planning actions and organized opposition with a fact-based, respectful posture.

Communications and Reputation

  • Run media relations, executive communications and the corporate newsroom.

  • Own crisis communications planning, including nuclear-specific scenarios, and lead the response when it matters.

  • Coordinate messaging with regulators and government affairs so that public statements and filings never diverge.

Commercial Marketing

  • Partner with the CRO to generate and support demand from hyperscalers, AI labs and enterprise compute buyers.

  • Support product marketing for LiquidCool immersion cooling and the Cure, Capture and Convert businesses as they come to market.

  • Lead flagship events, conference presence and partner co-marketing.

Team and Infrastructure

  • Build and lead the marketing, communications and community relations team, plus the agency and vendor bench.

  • Set the budget, KPIs and reporting that let the executive team see what marketing delivers.

What Success Looks Like in the First 12 Months

  • A unified brand and narrative live across website, investor materials and all six pillars.

  • A repeatable community engagement playbook deployed at every active campus site.

  • Consistent, positive tier-one media coverage and a recognized executive voice in the category.

  • Communications and disclosure processes ready for public company life.

  • A lean, high-output team in place, with agencies managed to clear metrics.

Who You Are

  • 15+ years in marketing and communications, with at least 5 in a senior leadership role.

  • Direct experience in one or more of: energy or nuclear, data centers or digital infrastructure, deep tech, or large-scale industrial projects.

  • Proven record taking a company through a major capital markets milestone (IPO, de-SPAC or large private raise) on the communications side.

  • Hands-on experience with community relations, public affairs or permitting-sensitive projects where public acceptance determined the outcome.

  • Strong crisis communications instincts and calm judgment under scrutiny.

  • Comfortable translating engineering and finance into plain language without losing accuracy.

  • A builder: equally at ease setting strategy with the board and writing the first draft yourself.

  • International perspective; experience in Europe or the Middle East, and additional languages, are a plus.

Why Join

  • Shape a new category at the intersection of clean energy and AI, from the ground up.

  • Senior seat in a founder-led executive team with direct impact on strategy.

  • Meaningful equity participation in a company preparing for its next stage of growth.

  • Mission-driven work: firm, carbon-free power for the infrastructure that will define the next decade.

Compensation

Competitive executive compensation package including base salary, performance bonus tied to delivery milestones such as energization dates, budget adherence, and uptime, plus significant equity.

About the Company

The company builds vertically integrated, nuclear-powered AI infrastructure campuses. Each campus combines on-site micro-modular reactors with high-density compute and patented immersion cooling, then puts the reactor's heat and power to work across adjacent businesses: direct air capture, medical radioisotopes and e-fuels.

The company organizes its business around six pillars: Power, Compute, Cool, Capture, Cure and Convert. Its ambition is to deliver multiple gigawatts of clean, firm power to AI compute by the early 2030s, and it is building the company to operate with the transparency and discipline expected of a public company.
