Our client, an aerospace manufacturer, is seeking a CNC Machinist to produce complex, close-tolerance components. This role requires strong machining, inspection, blueprint-reading, and quality-control skills in a precision manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling machines and related equipment to manufacture aerospace parts.
Review work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, material requirements, and machining specifications.
Interpret GD&T requirements and verify parts meet all dimensional and tolerance standards.
Inspect work using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, depth gauges, gage blocks, fixtures, and templates.
Maintain accurate production and quality records while following all safety procedures.
Support efficient production, equipment upkeep, and process-improvement efforts.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
3-8 years of CNC machining or CNC operation experience.
Experience with CNC milling; setup experience is preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T principles.
Working knowledge of practical shop math, including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages.
Detail-oriented, quality-focused, dependable, and able to communicate effectively.
