About the Role
A reliable and detail-oriented CNC Operator is sought to join a precision machining team. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent attendance, and a commitment to producing high-quality machined components.
Key Responsibilities
Machine operation: Safely and efficiently run conventional and Swiss machines to produce quality parts.
Blueprint interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation.
GD&T application: Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards to ensure accuracy.
Precision measurement: Measure and document part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Dimensional accuracy: Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet customer requirements.
Tool setup: Touch off tools, verify tool setup, and change tooling as required.
Documentation: Accurately complete inspection records and production documentation.
Quality monitoring: Monitor machine performance and report quality or equipment concerns.
Workplace safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of CNC operating experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Dependable work ethic and excellent attendance
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CNC lathes and machining centers
Familiarity with shop math and machining calculations
Background in job shop or short-run manufacturing environments
