CNC Programmer - Mastercam | Aerospace Manufacturing

About the Job

Our client is a growing aerospace manufacturing company supplying Tier-1 aerospace customers. The shop operates a high-end Eurotech 11-axis mill-turn center and is expanding production and automation. Our client is looking for someone who can program parts in Mastercam and run the machine to prove out their own work-not simply operate someone else's programs.

Our client is looking for a CNC Programmer who wants to see their programs through from CAM to finished part and play a hands-on role in the manufacturing process.

What You'll Do

• Program parts in Mastercam, including Mill, Lathe, and Mill-Turn (preferred).

• Optimize programs for cycle time, tool life, and surface finish.

• Set up and run parts on various 5-Axis mills and multi-axis lathes.

• Prove out new programs safely and efficiently.

• Hold tight aerospace tolerances of ≤ .001".

• Troubleshoot process issues, including tool wear, thermal drift, work holding, and offsets, and revise programs as needed.

• Collaborate with quoting, quality, and manufacturing engineering teams on manufacturability and DFM feedback.

• Manage bar feed/sub-spindle transfer operations and part-off strategy.

• Document setup sheets, process notes, and program revisions.

What We're Looking For

Required

• 3+ years of CNC programming experience in Mastercam.

• 5+ years of overall CNC machining experience.

• Strong understanding of blueprints and GD&T.

• Experience holding tight tolerances in a production environment.

Strongly Preferred

• Multi-axis mill-turn programming experience, including live tooling, sub-spindle, and Y-axis.

• Familiarity with Eurotech or similar mill-turn platforms.

• Aerospace machining background.

• Experience with bar feeders, probing, or post-processor customization.

Salary: $30-$45/hr. + DOE

Overtime available, with approximately 8 hours of OT per week
