CNO Software Developer

Job Post Summary

Our Client is seeking an experienced CNO Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software supporting mission critical defense, intelligence, and security applications. This position requires advanced Python and C/C++ programming skills, low level systems knowledge, networking expertise, and direct CNO development experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with operating system internals, TCP/IP networking, socket level programming, troubleshooting, and debugging complex software systems.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop new software based CNO capabilities

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug application software and systems

• Develop software using Python and C/C++

• Work with low level internals across Windows, Unix, mobile platforms, or network devices

• Develop software involving TCP/IP networking and socket level programming

• Apply advanced knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, networks, and secure systems

• Troubleshoot and debug complex software and system issues

• Ensure software development standards and technical requirements are met

• Communicate project status and technical progress with leadership and customers

Qualifications and Certifications

• Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming

• Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or at least 10 years of relevant experience without a degree

• CNO capability development experience

• Proficiency with low level internals in at least one technology area, including Windows, Unix, mobile platforms, or network devices

• Proficiency with TCP/IP networking and socket level programming

• Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex software and systems

• Active and current TS/SCI security clearance with recent CI polygraph
