Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, serving as a primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and vendors, and ensuring timely and accurate handling of account servicing, renewals, and policy transactions.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, carriers, and vendors.

Manage commercial insurance accounts, including BOP, General Liability (GL), Commercial Auto, Workers' Compensation (WC), and Umbrella policies.

Work closely with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide appropriate guidance.

Respond to client, carrier, sales team, and supervisor requests in a timely and professional manner.

Research and provide accurate information regarding policies, coverage, and client questions.

Maintain knowledge of carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and applicable regulatory changes.

Analyze and compare current exposures during the renewal process.

Prepare and submit new and renewal accounts for marketing and placement.

Review and summarize insurance quotes for accuracy and competitiveness.

Process and review policies, endorsements, endorsement requests, and audits for accuracy.

Maintain accurate renewal dates, coverage information, schedules, summaries, and account documentation.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal teams.

Identify opportunities to improve account servicing processes and efficiencies.

Qualifications

Experience working as a Commercial Lines CSR or Account Manager.

Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and account servicing.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts and priorities.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Basic math skills and ability to learn new technology and systems.

Strong listening, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
