Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Trucking Insurance Service Manager / Senior Account Executive to oversee commercial trucking insurance service operations and manage complex commercial transportation accounts.This leadership-focused position requires direct experience in commercial trucking insurance, including motor carriers, trucking fleets, and transportation businesses. The ideal candidate will have strong technical insurance knowledge, account management expertise, and the ability to lead and develop a high-performing service team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial trucking insurance service operations.

• Oversee complex trucking and fleet insurance accounts, ensuring high-quality client service and retention.

• Manage renewals, policy servicing, endorsements, audits, and claims coordination.

• Build and maintain relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, MGAs, and wholesalers specializing in transportation insurance.

• Review and manage Commercial Auto Liability, Motor Truck Cargo, Physical Damage, General Liability, and other related trucking insurance coverages.

• Develop and standardize service workflows and procedures using Applied Epic.

• Supervise, mentor, and train Account Managers and Client Service Specialists.

• Collaborate with producers on account retention, renewal strategies, and client service initiatives.

• Monitor account performance, service quality, and operational efficiency.

• Ensure accurate policy administration and timely resolution of client service issues.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial insurance experience.

• Direct commercial trucking insurance experience is required.

• Strong understanding of trucking insurance coverages, fleet operations, and underwriting requirements.

• Active Illinois Property & Casualty insurance license or the ability to obtain one promptly.

• Experience managing large commercial transportation accounts.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Applied Epic is strongly preferred.
