About Us

Client builds AI-powered visual inspection for manufacturing quality control. Our platform lets manufacturers

deploy advanced, domain-specific AI models on their production lines - without a data-science team - to catch

defects, ensure consistency and automate quality processes at scale. We are pioneering research on lean, efficient

vision models built for the shop floor, and we work with leading automotive, EV and battery, electronics, medical

device and consumer-goods manufacturers from our teams in Bengaluru and Detroit.

Role Overview

The Account Executive will own new-business sales for company across automotive OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers and other multi-plant manufacturers in the Midwest, working directly with our founders, who are based

in Detroit. This is a full-cycle, hands-on hunting role: you will build your own pipeline, run discovery on the plant floor, lead proofs-of-concept with our engineering team and close multi-year software agreements.

We are looking for someone with 5 to 10 years of experience selling machine vision, industrial automation, robotics or capital equipment into manufacturing - who wants to build something, not inherit it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Generation: Build and own a pipeline of target accounts through outbound prospecting, plant visits, trade shows, referrals and partner channels

  • Plant-Floor Discovery: Work with quality, manufacturing engineering, production and automation teams to identify inspection use cases, qualify fit and ROI, and assess replication potential across lines and plants

  • Proof-of-Concept Leadership: Coordinate sample collection and POCs with our application and AI engineering teams, present results and convert them into paid orders

  • Deal Closure: Build the business case, navigate supplier onboarding and procurement, and negotiate multi year software agreements

  • Land and Expand: Partner with the delivery team after first deployment to drive expansion across additional lines, plants and sites

  • Pipeline Discipline: Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and activity; weekly pipeline reviews with the founders

  • Market Intelligence: Bring back customer requirements, competitive insight and pricing feedback to shape

product and go-to-market

Key Requirements:

  • 5-10 years selling machine vision, industrial automation, robotics or capital equipment into manufacturing - Cognex, Keyence, Balluff, SICK, Banner, Zebra/Matrox, Basler, integrators and the like. Automotive exposure strongly preferred.

  • Hunter Track Record: Demonstrated success generating your own pipeline and closing new logos; comfortable with cold outreach and plant-floor selling

  • Technical Fluency: Able to hold a credible conversation on cameras, optics, lighting, PLC integration and inspection requirements; curious about AI and software

  • Consultative Selling: Experience running multi-stakeholder deals (quality, engineering, operations, procurement) with 3 to 9 month cycles

  • Builder Mindset: Thrives with ambiguity, creates process where none exists, and wants ownership and upside in an early team.

  • Based in Metro Detroit, roughly 40-50% Midwest travel.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary with uncapped commission and equity

  • Founders on the ground in Detroit, co-selling with you on key accounts

  • A seat on the founding US sales team, with a clear path to senior and leadership roles as the team grows

  • AI products deployed on live production lines, backed by a large engineering team
