Job Description:-

We are currently searching for the right person to join our team in Tigard, Oregon. The candidate will learn and be responsible for running and operating a rubber belt press, installing conveyor belts on site at our customers' locations, shipping/receiving, and operational duties. The candidate must be detail oriented, have distribution, manufacturing and conveyor belt experience. It is important to be excited about contributing to our team. This position has the opportunity for advancement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with customers and vendors in a pleasant and efficient manner.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: -

• 10 years or more of prior experience in slitting, installing, lacing and vulcanizing conveyor belt.

• Prior experience of installing and vulcanizing conveyor belts at customer locations is required

• Knowledge of installing conveyor components (pulleys, motors, idlers, cleaners, trainers/trackers) is a plus

• Know how to install mechanical lacing

• Self-motivation and the ability to excel with minimum supervision.

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.

• Ability to "multi-task" in a busy manufacturing area is essential.

• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license.

• Forklift driving required.

• Available to work overtime and weekends as needed

This position has a $2000 signing bonus paid after 60 days of continuous employment.
