Job Summary: <p>We are seeking an experienced and compassionate <strong>Emergency Veterinarian</strong> to join a growing veterinary team. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive emergency and critical care services to veterinary patients.

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop appropriate treatment plans for emergency and critically ill patients.

  • Manage a diverse caseload involving urgent, complex, and life-threatening medical conditions.

  • Perform emergency surgical procedures and other appropriate medical interventions.

  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

  • Provide pain management and critical care monitoring as appropriate.

  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians, support staff, and other veterinarians to ensure coordinated patient care.

  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and follow-up care.

  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.

  • Participate in case management, patient monitoring, and emergency stabilization.

  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.

  • Stay current with advances in emergency and critical care medicine through continuing education and professional development.

  • Support a patient-first approach while maintaining high standards of medical and ethical care.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent veterinary degree required.

  • Current veterinary license or eligibility for licensure in the applicable state.

  • Experience in emergency veterinary medicine preferred.

  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, surgical, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong commitment to compassionate patient and client care.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: $140,000-$240,000+ annually, based on experience and qualifications.
