About the Role
Looking to hire a experienced and energetic Front of House Manager to oversee the guest-facing operations of our Dobbs Ferry, NY location.
The FOH Manager will play a key role in creating an exceptional guest experience while leading and developing the front-of-house team. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining service standards, managing team performance, and creating a welcoming, professional, and vibrant environment for both guests and employees.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in hospitality, restaurant, entertainment, or dine-in theater operations and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
What You'll Do
Lead and oversee all Front of House operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival through departure.
Set the standard for outstanding hospitality, service, professionalism, and guest engagement.
Hire, train, coach, develop, and motivate FOH team members.
Build and maintain a positive, energetic, and accountable team culture.
Manage daily staffing, scheduling, breaks, shift assignments, and labor needs.
Ensure team members consistently follow LOOK's operational standards, policies, and procedures.
Monitor guest service, theater presentation, cleanliness, food and beverage service, and overall facility standards.
Respond quickly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and service issues.
Work closely with the General Manager and Kitchen Manager to ensure seamless coordination between FOH and BOH operations.
Monitor sales, labor, guest satisfaction, and other operational performance indicators.
Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, cash handling, and other operational procedures as needed.
Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
Support special events, promotions, high-volume periods, and other business initiatives.
Serve as a visible leader on the floor and actively support the team during busy periods.
Communicate operational updates, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership.
Help create an environment where guests feel welcomed and teammates feel supported and motivated.
What You'll Need
4+ years of hospitality, restaurant, entertainment, or related management experience.
Previous experience managing a high-volume Front of House operation.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
Excellent communication and guest-service skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management.
Strong understanding of hospitality and service standards.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and serve as a positive role model.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to acquire any required Manager/SafeServe certification.
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required.
