Position Overview

• Seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for the Downers Grove, Illinois

• Position focuses on the design of infrastructure for land development projects.

• Project types include:

  • Warehouse/distribution centers

  • Schools

  • Office developments

  • Retail developments

  • Healthcare developments

  • Recreation developments

Key Responsibilities

• Design pavement systems.

• Design watermain systems.

• Design sanitary sewer systems.

• Design storm sewer systems.

• Design stormwater management systems.

• Design roadways.

• Perform grading and earthwork design.

• Prepare erosion control plans.

• Prepare stormwater pollution prevention plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation required at a minimum.

• PE License is a plus.

• 3+ years of experience in land development-related engineering design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Civil 3D experience is a plus.

• Strong verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Flexibility and ability to adapt to project needs.
