Title Post-Closer

A real estate transaction isn't finished at the closing table, and neither are you. We're hiring an experienced Title Post-Closer to own files from signed closing package through funding, recording, and final policy.

What you'll own

• Package review: Verify accuracy, signatures, notarizations, and compliance with lender and closing instructions, and fix gaps fast

• Funding and disbursements: Submit packages to lenders, secure funding authorization, and process disbursements to completion

• Recording: Prepare and submit recording packages (deeds, deeds of trust, other recordable instruments), confirm information and fees, and resolve rejections and deficiencies

• Final policies: Prepare and issue final title insurance policies, as applicable

• Follow-up: Chase down releases, payoffs, and other outstanding post-settlement items until they're closed out

• File integrity: Keep post-closing tracking logs current, complete final file reviews, and maintain organized electronic records

• Communication: Work closely with lenders, clients, agents, underwriters, and recording offices

• Support other title and settlement tasks as needed

What you bring

• 2+ years of post-closing experience with a title or settlement company

• Hands-on experience with recording procedures and recordable instruments

• Working knowledge of executed closing documents and lender packages

• Current Title Producer License and Notary (or willingness to obtain both within 4 months of hire)

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong follow-through, and comfort managing many files at once

• Equally effective working independently or as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent
