Job Overview:
Responsible for operating a digital die cutter (similar to ABG) to die cut and apply laminate or UV varnish to digitally printed labels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive large printed rolls from the digital press and run them through the die cut machine

• Inspect rolls upon receipt and verify them against the job order/ticket

• Set up the machine as per job specifications, including selection of dies, roll wind, lamination or UV, and any special instructions

• Follow all quality verification and setup procedures, including completing and signing off on required quality checks

• Monitor jobs during runs to ensure proper registration and accurate die cutting

• Troubleshoot the machine during and after runs to ensure optimal performance

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety policies and procedures

• Handle additional duties and assignments as required

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cold Foil, Hot Stamping, and Embossing is a plus

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience with Flexo press (Required)

• Ability to lift heavy rolls
