Our client, a well-established mechanical contractor, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead a commercial and industrial service team. This role oversees daily field operations, ensuring high-quality service, efficient project execution, and adherence to safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support HVAC technicians in service, maintenance, and installation work

• Oversee HVAC/R systems including air conditioning, boilers, and refrigeration

• Troubleshoot issues and ensure timely, effective repairs

• Review system designs and ensure proper implementation

• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements

• Train and mentor team members on best practices

• Coordinate with internal teams on mechanical and plumbing-related projects

• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC service with leadership or supervisory responsibilities

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Knowledge of refrigeration systems; ammonia systems a plus

• Experience with diagnostics, equipment repair, or construction environments preferred

• Strong communication and organizational abilities
