My client is looking for a highly motivated, responsible, career minded individual to join their Roanoke, Virginia team of Inside Sales/Account Managers.

NOTE: 

People who have historically done well in this role have had experience with Estimating, Purchasing, Shipbuilding, Automotive Repair and others.

You'll have an opportunity to train with a team of highly experienced individuals who are dedicated to your success potential, so while fastener industry experience is desirable, your willingness to dive in to learn & retain significant technical subject matter (prints, specifications, processes, etc.) is the more important factor in contributing to our high-performance team.

Responsibilities:

• It includes sourcing, quoting, purchasing, order entry, customer service and account management.

• The successful candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, fluent verbal and written communication skills.

• A successful academic and/or work history that demonstrates commitment and dependability is a must. 

Requirements:

• US Citizenship

• College Degree BS/BA/AS preferred

• Must work well within a fast-paced team environment, keeping track of multiple demands from customers, both internal and external.

Mechanical aptitude:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• How we communicate with our team and our customers is the most important aspect of this role!

• Strict attention to detail.

• Ability to interpret and understand a variety of instructions written or verbal, including customer drawing and specification requirements.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

Location: Roanoke, Virginia. This is not a remote work position.

Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday
