Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations to understand design goals, lifestyle needs, style preferences, and budget requirements

• Develop creative interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects

• Create space plans, furniture layouts, color palettes, material selections, and design presentations

• Prepare drawings, renderings, and visual presentations using CAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, Adobe Creative Suite, and related design software

• Guide clients through furniture, fixture, finish, and product selections

• Manage design projects from initial consultation through final installation

• Coordinate with contractors, architects, vendors, installers, and trade professionals

• Conduct site visits to ensure projects are completed according to design specifications

• Maintain strong client relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals

• Support business growth through networking, relationship building, and client engagement

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Interior Design experience

• Strong knowledge of design principles, space planning, materials, finishes, and furniture selection

• Experience managing projects from concept to completion

• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills

• Strong project management and organizational abilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

• High level of professionalism and attention to detail

• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset

• Portfolio demonstrating interior design expertise and completed projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or related field

• Experience with residential remodeling, custom homes, new construction, or commercial design

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite

• Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and project coordination

• Certifications such as NCIDQ, ASID, IIDA are a plus
