We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to read and interpret blueprints, understand part setup, tool selection, and speeds/feeds, and machine parts from drawings or solid models with minimal assistance.
Experience with Fusion 360 and SolidWorks is a plus.
Program parts from blueprints or solid models.
Set up machinery for new production runs, including making programming updates and changes.
Operate CNC machinery to produce finished parts.
Perform quality assurance checks using precision measurement tools.
Inspect and replace worn cutting tools as necessary.
Perform basic maintenance of CNC equipment.
Monitor and adjust speeds and feeds as needed.
Deburr parts as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Meet production deadlines while following required specifications, procedures, and safety standards.
2+ years of machining experience.
2+ years of CNC milling machine experience.
At least 1 year of CNC programming experience.
CNC Lathe experience is preferred.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
Experience with CNC machine setup and programming.
Strong understanding of tool selection, speeds and feeds, and shop mathematics.
Experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
High mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
PC/systems knowledge and basic computer skills.
Ability to machine parts from drawings or solid models with minimal supervision.
Ability to move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds for distances of 20-30 feet.
Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious.
Must comply with company policies and procedures.
Must be able to pass a federal background check.
Experience with Haas CNC machines is highly desirable. The shop operates 3-axis and 4-axis CNC mills, as well as multi-spindle live-tool lathes.
