Provides a safe operating environment by directing installation, maintenance, repair of machines, tools, equipment and utility systems.
Ensure production operations by determining work priorities and scheduling repair
Keeps records of all maintenance and service activities undertaken in a facility
Designs, implements and modifies preventive maintenance programs for both the facilities and equipment by working with production, quality control, and maintenance and engineering team members; inspecting operating machines, equipment and systems for conformance with operational standards
Places orders for spare parts and equipment for replacement
Complies with all corporate policies and OSHA while carrying out maintenance functions
Protects employees and visitors by maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Ability to prioritize workflow to maintain a safe and productive work environment
Respond to requests for equipment installation/modification
Document repairs and parts requests, maintain communication with effected departments
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous maintenance/production maintenance experience
Good communication skills
Strong mechanical aptitude

Diagnostic aptitude. Ability to approach complex problems using appropriate tools and logical processes
Adherence to LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) Procedures
Possession of a basic set of tools: Hand tools, small power tools, multimeter
Ability to use common office programs: Email, Microsoft Word/Excel
Ability to read electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic/parts schematics
Experience repairing Brown & Sharpe machines helpful
$Starting at $28.00/hour minimum, depending on experience
