Mammography Technologist (ARRT Mammo) - Full-Time

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Occasional Weekends)

$33 - $48/hour

We are hiring a Mammography Technologist for a full-time opportunity at a busy outpatient imaging center in Olney, MD. This role includes performing screening and diagnostic mammography exams, along with DEXA (bone density) scans (training provided if needed).

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols

• Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort and accurate imaging

• Follow MQSA and radiation safety (ALARA) guidelines

• Review images for quality, accuracy, and proper documentation

• Assist with breast imaging procedures and patient care

• Educate patients and provide support throughout exams

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Participate in quality assurance and team collaboration

Requirements

• ARRT (R) Certification - Required

• ARRT (M) - Mammography Certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)

• Active state license (or eligibility)

• Associate degree or completion of an accredited radiology program

• Up to 5 years of Mammography Technologist experience

Preferred

• Experience with DEXA scans (training available)

• Strong communication and patient care skills
