Job Summary: <p>We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join an Internal Medicine team. The provider will deliver comprehensive care to adult patients, evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.</p>

Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and clinical assessments.

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, and disorders affecting the lungs, brain, kidneys, and gastrointestinal system.

• Evaluate and treat common illnesses and infections, including influenza and pneumonia.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Prescribe and administer medications and appropriate therapies within scope of practice.

• Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.

• Explain diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and test results to patients and their families.

• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling.

• Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare services when appropriate.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.

• Stay current with clinical guidelines, evidence-based practices, and applicable healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.

• Appropriate national board certification.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred, particularly in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Primary Care.

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to establish strong relationships with patients and families.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.

• Proficiency with electronic medical records and standard clinical technology.

Schedule

• Full-time position.

• Option to work 4 or 5 days per week.

• Regular patient-facing clinical responsibilities.

Compensation

$100,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience and the number of days worked per week.
