Occupational Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
Location: Hillsboro or Tualatin, Oregon
Position: Full-Time

Clinical Responsibilities & Patient Volume
Provide occupational medicine care for employees with work-related injuries and illnesses.
Manage both workers' compensation and other occupational health patients.
Approximately 50% workers' compensation and 50% other occupational health services.
Typical volume is 16-18 patients per day.
Standard visits are approximately 30 minutes, with additional time allotted for new patients.
Providers generally care for patients for approximately 90 days, give or take, creating a more acute-care-oriented model than traditional longitudinal primary care.
Drug screening is performed by Medical Assistants and is not performed by physicians.
Work collaboratively with other physicians and clinical support staff to provide efficient, high-quality care.

Monday-Friday, with flexibility for a 4x10 schedule
No call, weekends, evenings, or holidays
Tualatin
Monday-Friday, 5x8 schedule
No call, weekends, evenings, or holidays
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Oregon medical license, or eligibility and willingness to obtain Oregon licensure
Board Certified or Board Eligible in one of the following:
Occupational Medicine
Internal Medicine
Family Medicine
Emergency Medicine
Interest in practicing and/or learning Occupational Medicine
Prior Occupational Medicine experience is important and preferred.
Workers' compensation experience is a plus but not required.
Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine backgrounds are welcomed, particularly for physicians interested in transitioning into Occupational Medicine.
Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, collaboration, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute positively to the existing staffing dynamic
