Ophthalmologist - Outpatient & Surgical | $560K-$615K + $50K Sign-On

Location: El Centro, CA

Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Work Setting: In Person

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive ophthalmic examinations and evaluations

  • Diagnose and treat a broad range of ocular conditions

  • Provide outpatient ophthalmology services

  • Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures, including cataract surgery

  • Manage conditions involving: Cataracts, Glaucoma, Neuro-ophthalmic disorders & Other ocular diseases

  • Develop individualized treatment plans and follow-up care

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care

  • Maintain appropriate patient safety and aseptic standards during procedures and surgeries

Schedule

  • Standard schedule: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

  • Flexible scheduling available

  • 4-day workweek

  • 10-hour days can be considered

  • Full-time and part-time candidates will be considered

  • No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD/DO) with training in Ophthalmology

  • Board certification or Board eligibility in Ophthalmology accepted

  • New graduates/newly trained Ophthalmologists are welcome to apply

  • Post-residency experience is not required

  • No specific fellowship background required at this time

  • California medical licensure is flexible; candidates who need to obtain California licensure may be considered

  • Must be able to provide both outpatient ophthalmology care and surgical services

  • Hospital/medical staff privileges are flexible based on the candidate and practice requirements

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $560,058.83-$615,328.91, depending on qualifications/experience and overall compensation structure

  • Sign-On Bonus of $50,000
