SLPA w/sign on bonus-Come Talk Kids AND Boats With Us!
Play Here. Stay Here. Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Picture this: you wrap up a session where a kiddo nails a sound they've been working on for weeks, you close your laptop, and twenty minutes later you're on the lake watching the sun melt into the water over London Bridge. That's not a daydream - that's just a normal Tuesday when you work.
We're looking for a Pediatric SLPA who's ready to do meaningful, hands-on clinical work all day and then actually live somewhere incredible when the clock-out happens. 300+ days of sunshine. A lake that's basically your backyard pool. A slower pace, a tight-knit community, and zero traffic-induced rage. Havasu life is real, and it's spectacular.
About the Role
Our Speech-Language Pathology Assistants are where the magic of communication happens - session by session, word by word. Working alongside our supervising SLPs, you'll implement treatment that helps children find their voices, build language, and connect with the people around them. If you're patient, creative, and passionate about the power of communication, we'd love to have you on our team.
We're not just a clinic - we're a tribe. Bring your curiosity, your compassion, and your enthusiasm for language. There's a place for you here (and a kayak with your name on it).
What You'll Do
Clinical Work
Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of your supervising SLP, targeting communication, language, articulation, fluency, and/or AAC goals
Provide home programming instruction so progress carries over into daily life
Deliver individual and group therapy, in person and via teletherapy, as authorized
Team up with the therapy team, Team Lead, and/or Therapy Manager on treatment updates and clinical problem-solving
Keep your supervising SLP and the interdisciplinary team in the loop on session observations, progress, and family concerns
Documentation & Compliance
Timely, measurable, HIPAA-tight documentation (notes, discharge summaries, progress reports, LMNs)
Keep things organized so nothing falls through the cracks
Being Part of the Tribe
Show up for team meetings, check-ins, and company events
Help keep shared spaces and equipment clean and cared for
Who You Are
Genuinely excited by the moment a child finds a new word, sound, or way to communicate
Patient, warm, and skilled at building rapport with young children and their families
A proactive communicator who keeps your supervising SLP fully informed after every session
Organized, dependable, and thorough - in sessions, in documentation, and in follow-through
Curious and growth-oriented, always looking to deepen your clinical knowledge and skills
Qualifications
Required
Current Arizona SLPA Registration or License
Valid driver's license, clean of DUI/suspension history
Ability to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
Strong verbal and written communication skills
