Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients, review medical history and functional limitations, and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans with measurable goals.
Provide orthopedic physical therapy focused on reducing pain and restoring mobility, strength, function, and overall physical health.
Deliver therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, modalities, and functional rehabilitation.
Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as appropriate, and document evaluations, treatments, outcomes, and progress in the EMR.
Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury prevention, body mechanics, recovery strategies, and self-management.
Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, OTs, PTAs, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate knowledge of CPT/ICD coding and documentation requirements for billing and clinical services.
Participate in continuing education, clinical training, and initiatives supporting clinical excellence, patient service, and teamwork.
Qualifications
Current, valid Physical Therapist license in the applicable state.
BLS certification required at the time of hire.
Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate preferred.
Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
Candidates from other physical therapy backgrounds may be considered.

Preferred Skills & Experience
Orthopedic physical therapy experience strongly preferred.
Strong clinical evaluation and treatment-planning skills.
Knowledge of therapeutic exercise and manual therapy.
Strong patient education and communication skills.
Ability to develop individualized treatment plans.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of CPT and ICD coding.
EMR documentation experience; ModMed experience is beneficial.
Specialty certifications are highly valued.
Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
Compensation
Base salary starts at $92,000 annually, with a defined salary range based on experience.
Professional Development & Continuing Education
$5,000 annually, prorated by FTE, for each active approved Tier 1 board certification.
$1,000 annually, prorated by FTE, for each active approved Tier 2 certification.
Annual bonus of up to $10,000 based on:

The certification compensation structure applies to both full-time and part-time employees and is prorated based on FTE.
