We produce and market a wide variety of private-label laundry and dish cleaning products sold through major retail chains across the US, Canada, Central America, and the Caribbean. We are the market leader in three of our product categories. While our headquarters are in Alpharetta, GA, this leadership opportunity is located at our manufacturing facility in Thomaston, GA.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Plant Manager to oversee all daily operations of our Thomaston manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in chemical manufacturing with strong leadership skills to motivate personnel, maximize production rates, and ensure total regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Manage all daily operations of the manufacturing plant to attain required specs and output targets.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor team leads while fostering a highly motivated and productive work environment.

  • Production Scheduling: Schedule and optimize production timelines to consistently meet market demand requirements.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex chemical, electrical, and mechanical issues on the floor.

  • Process Optimization: Maximize plant production rates and operational efficiency.

  • Formula Development: Develop, modify, and collaborate directly with chemists on product formula development.

  • Compliance & Safety: Keep the facility and all personnel fully compliant with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment.

  • Leadership: Proven track record of team leadership. Military leadership experience is a strong plus.

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred.

    • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering is acceptable if paired with robust experience in chemical manufacturing.
