Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing architectural team. This position is ideal for a motivated professional with at least 5 years of commercial project management experience who excels in communication, problem-solving, and managing projects from concept through construction.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality control, managing project schedules and budgets, and ensuring compliance with Life Safety and building codes. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite is required. Candidates should be licensed architects or actively pursuing licensure. LEED accreditation is preferred.
Work under the direction of the Director of Architecture.
Independently manage multiple projects simultaneously from schematic design through construction administration.
Manage client expectations in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Prepare, supervise, and coordinate construction documents with internal and external design team members.
Develop 3D Building Information Models (BIM) and 2D construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
Coordinate project information with in-house staff and engineering consultants to produce accurate, coordinated construction documents.
Monitor and report project schedules, budgets, and progress to leadership.
Review and approve plans, specifications, materials, and construction documentation.
Participate in the evaluation and selection of architectural and engineering consultants.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Ensure accountability for project budgets and schedules.
Mentor and motivate team members.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Lead meetings and deliver presentations to clients and project teams.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Architect or Project Manager on commercial and residential projects.
Strong ability to resolve complex design challenges independently and collaboratively.
Excellent design and technical skills.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Solid understanding of architectural practices, Life Safety requirements, building codes, and specification writing.
Medical or healthcare project experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution preferred.
Architectural licensure or active pursuit of licensure preferred.
LEED accreditation is a plus.
3+ years of experience using Revit.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
5+ years of design experience.
3+ years of project management experience.
