About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead Inventory Planning & Replenishment (IP&R) initiatives for a leading retail and supply chain organization.

This role will drive projects focused on inventory optimization, demand forecasting, replenishment processes, and supply chain transformation while partnering with cross-functional business and technology teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing Supply Chain Planning or Inventory Planning projects and possess a strong understanding of forecasting,

replenishment, and inventory management processes within retail, distribution, or manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Inventory Planning & Replenishment (IP&R) projects from initiation through successful delivery.

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, and dependencies.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Merchandising, Operations, IT, and business stakeholders.

• Drive initiatives focused on demand forecasting, inventory optimization, replenishment accuracy, and supply chain process improvements.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure timely delivery.

• Support business requirement gathering, solution design reviews, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support.

• Collaborate with business teams to improve inventory planning processes, ordering rules, replenishment parameters, and item setup.

• Track and analyze inventory-related KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns, stock availability, and replenishment performance.

• Facilitate project governance meetings, executive status reporting, and stakeholder communication.

• Drive organizational change management, user training, and adoption of new business processes and system enhancements.

• Ensure projects are delivered with high quality while meeting business objectives and timelines.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Project Management experience delivering Supply Chain or Inventory Planning initiatives.

• Strong understanding of Inventory Planning, Replenishment, Demand Forecasting, and Inventory Optimization concepts.

• Experience managing cross-functional projects involving Supply Chain, Operations, Merchandising, and IT teams.

• Proven experience managing project schedules, risks, budgets, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.

• Experience coordinating system implementations, enhancements, testing, UAT, and production rollouts.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery environments.
