Role Description
The Property Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Moorestown, NJ. The Property Manager oversees the daily operations of an affordable apartment community, including tenant relations, leasing activities, rent collection, and enforcement of community policies. This role coordinates maintenance requests, ensures timely completion of repairs, and helps maintain safe, clean, and well-functioning buildings and grounds. The Property Manager monitors occupancy, prepares and maintains accurate records, and supports compliance with affordable housing regulations and company standards. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners, responding to resident concerns, and promoting a positive community environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Leasing Non-residential Real Estate experience

  • Experience with property or community management, including leasing, rent collection, and resident relations.

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage schedules, documentation, and regulatory requirements.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, vendors, and internal teams.

  • Basic financial and budgeting skills, including tracking expenses and supporting reporting requirements.

  • Familiarity with affordable housing programs or income-restricted communities is preferred.

  • Proficiency with property management software and standard office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing).

  • Ability to work on-site, respond promptly to issues, and support a safe, well-maintained environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus.

  • Previous experience in residential property management or a similar customer-facing role strongly preferred.
