To ensure future growth our client is looking for a dynamic, responsible, and motivated salesperson with management ambitions that is full time in the office in Brecksville.

This dual-focused role is split approximately 50% on sales management and 50% on customer account management traveling 20% of your time. From one side you are responsible for ensuring growth in your dedicated region and from the other side you are responsible for reaching targets with your team.

The ideal candidate has sales experience, is not afraid to make phone calls, has the right working ethics, takes initiatives, sets sales targets and push teams reaching these.

Key Responsibilities: 50% Customer account management development, 50% Sales Management.

Customer Account Management & Development (50%):

Learn the processes of the company going from warehousing, order booking, pricing, ERP program, to support your sales knowledge and the teams.

Ensure exceptional customer service and proactive communication with your dedicated customers to lead by example to your team members.

Go on regular customer visits to improve relationship and sales figures with customer and write reports after the visits.

1 full week travelling around US per month depending on your dedicated region. (20% of your time)

Give trainings about the company's product range, E-shop, and find out how to grow with the customer. Trainings, questionnaire and visit reports with to dos will help you in this.

Analyze the evolution of your customers knowledge and figures through Power BI, Visits, and find ways how to increase these.

Take initiatives to develop your region figures and work on different projects to improve the customer relationship.

Make offers with correct price calculations.

Develop your Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and ERP skills to support your different tasks.

Knows customer's business environment and goals as well as customer segment incl. products & applications.

Knows competitive environment, key suppliers and buying behavior.

Identifies, manages and successfully concludes sales opportunities by persuading and influencing customers to choose the company's products and services by phone and personal visits.

Sales & Team Management (50%):

Responsible for the daily operations and workflow of the sales teams & back-office team, and ensure that the sales teams give an excellent customer service. Full time presence in the Brecksville office here is key.

Conduct 2 weekly 1h meetings with each team (4 teams) to keep proactivity high (with Reporting & targets about the meeting):

Running topics: what are the teams struggling with, how can you improve this? find solutions.

Customer visits: Follow up on the team's business trips: reading reports, give feedback and see the team is doing their follow up.

Launch sales initiatives: Initiate projects that can be launched that will increase sales, for example:

Inside Sales: Find X new buying sealing distributors.

Inside Sales: Call customers that stopped buying.

Inside sales: Inform customers about a new article range.

check decreasing customers. Push these projects with targets and deadlines.

Can be many different projects launched during the year.

make presentations to inform the teams but also to management.

Assure the right onboarding, training and coaching of the employees.

Supervise that processes are followed by the team

Set up Variable Pay programs (VPP) , Mid-year reviews and end of year analysis for your team members.

Set up clear smart targets possibly following several KPI's that must be followed by the team and monitored.

For example:

·        Back office: Lower booking errors or lower cancelations.

·        Inside Sales: Increase turnover for your dedicated region with X %.

·        Inside Sales: follow up on all offer above > 2000 dollars.

·        Motivating, coaching, training of the sales team.

·        Closely monitor the team in the office and during the weekly meetings.

·        Have an open communication within all colleagues and entities in the global group.

·        Build strong team dynamics and find ways to improve efficiency.

·        Other tasks can be also assigned.

Proven experience in sales management and back-office operations.

Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.

Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.

Ability to analyze data and implement KPI-driven strategies.

Proactive, solution-oriented, and process-improvement mindset.
