Senior Associate Attorney - Personal Injury

Location: Beverly Hills, CA
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
Work Arrangement: In-Person
Compensation: $150,000-$275,000 annually, depending on experience, plus potential bonuses

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney with a strong background in personal injury litigation to manage cases from inception through settlement, mediation, arbitration, or trial.

The ideal candidate is a confident litigator with excellent legal writing and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to independently manage a substantial caseload. This position offers the opportunity to handle complex, high-value personal injury matters while working alongside experienced attorneys and litigation support professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement or trial

• Develop case strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and overall case value

• Conduct factual and legal investigations

• Review and evaluate medical records, treatment, and damages

• Communicate directly with clients regarding case progress, strategy, and expectations

• Draft settlement demands and negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel

• Prepare and file complaints, pleadings, and other litigation documents

• Draft and respond to discovery, including interrogatories and requests for production

• Take and defend depositions

• Draft, oppose, and argue motions as needed

• Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial

• Conduct legal research and prepare written legal analysis

• Work collaboratively with supervising attorneys, paralegals, and support staff

• Manage deadlines, court appearances, and competing priorities effectively

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing required

• 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience required

• Strong understanding of California personal injury law and civil litigation procedures

• Proven ability to independently manage a personal injury caseload

• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases and deadlines

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently

• Strong professional judgment and work ethic

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with attorneys and support staff
