A growing CPA and advisory firm is seeking an experienced CPA or CPA candidate to lead its assurance, business accounting, and tax functions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee assurance, accounting, and tax engagements.

• Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted accounting and business advisor.

• Review financial statements, tax returns, and accounting work for accuracy and compliance.

• Provide accounting, tax, and business advisory guidance to clients.

• Oversee engagement planning, execution, and completion.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and business operations.

• Mentor and support accounting team members.

• Assist with complex accounting, tax, and financial matters.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide responsive, high-quality service.

• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the firm's accounting and advisory practice.

Qualifications

• CPA license or active CPA candidacy preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience.

• Strong experience in assurance, accounting, and/or tax.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and client relationship skills.

• Ability to work independently while effectively leading and collaborating with a team.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience managing multiple client engagements and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or Master's in Taxation (MST).

• Business consulting or advisory experience.

• Experience leading teams or client engagements.

• Interest in progressing into a senior leadership role.
