My client is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their growing audit practice.
This position offers the opportunity to work with non-profit organizations and affordable housing entities.
The Audit Senior will lead engagement fieldwork, supervise staff, and work closely with the owner to provide high-quality audit and assurance services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification required.
Minimum of three years of audit and accounting experience in public accounting.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting/audit software.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and perform financial statement audits, reviews, and compliance engagements.
Prepare and review audit workpapers and financial statements.
Supervise, mentor, and train audit staff during engagements.
Evaluate internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and those charged with governance.
Maintain strong client relationships through responsive and professional service.
Collaborate with managers and partners to ensure engagements are completed efficiently and in accordance with professional standards.
