Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil engineering design, site development planning, and stormwater management for primarily private-sector projects. This role involves overseeing project execution, providing technical guidance, managing engineering teams, and collaborating with clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design and site development planning.

• Oversee stormwater management and drainage design.

• Design and review storm sewer, water main, sanitary sewer, and roadway systems.

• Manage engineering projects, schedules, and deliverables.

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering teams.

• Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.

• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

• Review engineering plans and ensure quality and accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of civil engineering design experience.

• Strong expertise in site planning and stormwater management.

• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and practices.

• Experience with civil engineering design software.

• Strong communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Michigan.

• Experience managing civil engineering projects.

• Knowledge of Michigan and local municipal regulations.

• Experience designing and reviewing storm sewer, water main, sanitary sewer, and roadway systems.
