One of our clients is a growing engineering firm providing civil engineering, land development, community association, residential, and commercial design services across southeastern Pennsylvania.
They are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support civil/site design, land development, field inspections, construction oversight, and project management activities.
Perform and support site/civil design and land development projects, including:
Zoning
Grading
Drainage
Stormwater management
Erosion & sedimentation (E&S) control
Utilities
Assist with land development and zoning reviews, township coordination, and permit applications.
Conduct field inspections and prepare technical reports related to existing site conditions, including:
Retaining walls
Stormwater basins
Erosion and flooding concerns
Existing infrastructure
Perform construction management and field inspections for ongoing civil/site projects involving:
Pavement
Grading
Stormwater
E&S controls
General site development
Conduct site inspections and observations to evaluate the physical condition of existing buildings and infrastructure.
Assist with financial capital reserve studies and transition studies for community associations and commercial properties.
Coordinate with clients, municipalities, contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders.
Support project management, cost estimating, construction estimating, and technical documentation.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
10+ years of experience in municipal engineering, civil engineering, site design, and/or land development.
Experience with residential and commercial development projects.
Strong knowledge of civil/site design principles, grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and E&S controls.
Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HydroCAD, or similar engineering/design software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Project management experience.
Ability to perform field inspections and coordinate with municipalities and project stakeholders.
Local/regional experience with projects in Bucks County, Montgomery County, Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, or surrounding Pennsylvania areas.
Experience with:
Cost estimating
Construction estimating
Capital reserve studies
Community association engineering
Municipal engineering experience.
Starting salary of $115,000/year, depending on experience and qualifications.
