Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive electrical construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and bid documents.

  • Utilize estimating software such as EBM and Bluebeam to develop accurate cost projections.

  • Review project drawings and technical documents to identify scope of work, materials, labor needs, and potential risks.

  • Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.

  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors through negotiation to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.

  • Assist in developing project budgets, schedules, and cost control strategies to ensure profitability.

  • Support project management teams by providing detailed estimates that guide bidding decisions and project planning.

Qualifications:

  • 7 + years of Strong electrical experience combined with solid construction estimating expertise.

  • Proficiency of Software EBM and Bluebeam for digital plan review and markup.

  • Experience in Public Works Projects a must.

  • Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations for accurate system design and compliance.

  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure optimal pricing and contractual terms.

  • Deep understanding of construction processes, site management, and contract administration.

  • Ability to perform detailed cost analysis, budgeting, and cost control throughout project lifecycle.
