Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled and client-focused Senior Estate Planning Attorney with 3 to 5 years of estate planning experience to join their growing practice. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of wills, trusts, probate, and estate administration, along with the ability to help lead and expand the Estate Planning practice area.

 

This is a key leadership opportunity within the firm, where the selected candidate will play an important role in developing, managing, and growing the Estate Planning department while providing exceptional client service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Lead and help grow the Estate Planning practice area

·         Handle estate planning matters including wills, trusts, probate, and estate administration

·         Conduct client consultations and recommend tailored estate planning solutions

·         Draft and review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives

·         Manage the full client lifecycle from intake through execution and follow-up

·         Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and responsiveness

·         Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, marketing, and administrative staff to ensure seamless client service

·         Partner with the marketing team and participate in estate planning seminars and business development initiatives

·         Stay current with developments in estate planning, probate, and related laws

·         Assist with mentoring and supporting junior staff as the department grows

 

Qualifications:

·         J.D. from an accredited law school and active New Jersey Bar admission required

·         3 to 5 years of Estate Planning experience required

·         Strong knowledge of wills, trusts, probate, and estate administration

·         Excellent drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

·         Leadership ability with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset

·         Strong client communication and relationship-building skills

·         Candidates should be located within reasonable commuting distance to Clifton, NJ

·         Admission to New York and/or Pennsylvania is a plus
