Job Summary: <p><strong>Senior Estimator – Specialty Construction</strong></p><p class="isSelectedEnd">Established specialty contractor serving NJ, NY, and PA is seeking a <strong>Senior Estimator</strong> to lead estimating and preconstruction for concrete restoration, parking garage rehabilitation, waterproofing, façade/masonry restoration, and structural repair projects.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements.</p></li><li><p>Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and prepare estimates and bids.</p></li><li><p>Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits.</p></li><li><p>Evaluate labor, materials, equipment, access, staging, and project risks.</p></li><li><p>Solicit and analyze subcontractor/vendor quotes.</p></li><li><p>Identify scope gaps and value-engineering opportunities.</p></li><li><p>Prepare bid packages and support project handoffs.</p></li></ul><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of construction estimating and/or project management experience.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and costs.</p></li><li><p>Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.</p></li><li><p>Experience with <strong>Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, or similar software</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational and multitasking skills.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong> Experience with concrete restoration, waterproofing, parking garages, façade/masonry restoration, or similar specialty construction.</p>

My client is an established specialty contractor performing concrete restoration, parking garage rehabilitation, waterproofing, façade and masonry restoration, and structural repairs throughout NJ, NY and PA. The Senior Estimator will lead estimating and preconstruction by reviewing project documents, developing estimates, evaluating costs and risks, preparing bids, and supporting project handoffs.

Responsibilities

Review drawings, specifications and project requirements.
