Role Description The Senior Project Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN, responsible for leading projects through all phases of design and documentation. Day-to-day tasks include developing concepts, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating with engineers and consultants, and managing project schedules and deliverables. The role involves overseeing submittals and construction administration, reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and ensuring design intent is maintained during construction. The Senior Project Architect will guide project teams, provide technical leadership, support BIM standards and workflows, and contribute to sustainable and LEED-aligned design practices.

Qualifications

• Strong architectural design and technical abilities, with proficiency in Architecture fundamentals and Building Information Modeling (BIM).

• Professional degree in Architecture.

• Advanced skills in industry-standard Revit software, along with strong documentation and detailing capabilities.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff and lead project teams.

• Experience managing projects from schematic design through construction, preferably in commercial, institutional, or mixed-use sectors.

• Institutional or Municipal preferred. K-12 Schools, College and University, Police and Fire stations
