Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Construction)

Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring successful project delivery by managing scope, schedule, cost, and risk. This role involves coordinating internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality construction projects from design through completion. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project teams and oversee engineering activities from design through construction and completion

Develop technical solutions, conduct preliminary project assessments, and identify resource requirements

Manage subcontractor and vendor billing issues

Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

Ensure safety compliance across all job site personnel

Supervise Project Engineers and/or Project Managers when required

Prepare and manage accurate and timely project billings

Review and approve subcontractor invoices

Research, prepare, and present project proposals

Develop and manage change orders

Support business development initiatives

Monitor, control, and report project financial performance

Analyze job cost impacts and maintain budget alignment

Review and negotiate contracts and subcontracts as needed

Develop and implement construction plans

Track project progress, anticipate risks, and resolve issues proactively

Lead project meetings and coordinate stakeholder communication

Ensure consistent implementation of safety standards and practices

Mentor and support Project Engineers

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Minimum 8 years of experience in construction project management

At least 5 years of experience working with a mechanical contractor

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam

Basic estimating skills

Solid understanding of accounting and financial management principles

Proven track record of successfully delivered projects and satisfied clients

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
